An exhibition of work by Master of Letters graduates from Glasgow School of Art
Curated by Anne-Marie Watson.

En Route brings together a diverse grouping of 22 artists who have been working for the last year across four distinct pathways - painting, photography, printmaking and sculpture - on the Master of Letters course at Glasgow School of Art.
Taking place in a soon to be transformed shop unit on Camden High Street, this will be the first opportunity for them to work together post degree show, reflecting their currently evolving positions outside of art school.
Together with curator Anne-Marie Watson they have taken part in conversations about their work and ideas both inside and outside of the groups they studied with. This process has enabled a dialogue to emerge around the material and thematic connections that run throughout their work and opened up lines of enquiry that may be common to all. Particular threads include interests in process, performance, notions of space in relation to both built and natural environments, politics, different ideas around time, links between distance and intimacy, difficulties with communication and how the body is implicated in the act of viewing.
En Route offers all the artists a further opportunity to continue these discussions and expand on their degree show in a new and non-academic context.
Generously supported by Collective. Collective is a project run by Camden Town Unlimited (the BID for Camden Town) funded by Camden Council and the Mayor’s Regeneration Fund.     http://camdencollective.co.uk/
